Lucille was born-again in 2002. After some intriguing life experiences she became passionate about spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people and building up "The Church of Jesus". Her upbringing was loving and stable up to the age of 14, and little unusual. By the time Lucille had hit 4th grade she had been to 5 schools (one per grade) in 5 different cities. It was an upbringing that encouraged her extroverted-self to become even more social.
Her stable childhood story later turned to a "riches to rags" one - ( from living in a nice home, with a pool to government subsidized housing facilities - and where the family mini-van was traded for walking home with a grocery cart with squiggling wheels in the snow and other odd experiences. One includes living in a facility with a urine-smelling stairwell which was not a highlight for a teenage girl). And as a "Daddy's girl", that could no longer be -this experience enabled Lucille to learn to live without. Life turned a little side-ways. After a rebellious period that included yellow-dyed hair, skater-pants and maybe some cigarettes - Lucille was reminded of how God is gracious and loving. He blessed Lucille with a mentality shift allowing her to graduate her third high-school on time with three scholarships. She went on to Humber College Nursing School and later graduated with a Bachelor of Science of Nursing Degree at Ryerson University.
After 15 years as a Registered Nurse, in Geriatric and Psychiatric Mental Health at a range of institutions from Homewood Health Center, Guelph General God gave her the "job of her dreams" as a nursing instructor at Conestoga College. However, these experiences also made Lucille realize she was in an environment where it is difficult to speak the name "Jesus", if not almost impossible. It was shortly after this and some intimate and sacred spiritual experiences later - that God called Lucille to a new direction. With God-directed clarity, Lucille is now studying graduate-level theology at the University of Waterloo. She hopes to continue onward.
God also led her to Servant Conferences where she is now passionately involved. God is so Good as He continues to build it.
Her testimony topics for speaking include:
- God-Given Faith (just ask for it!) - New!
- "Fasting, the Spiritual Discipline that is Underused and Most Powerful
- "The Importance of Godly Women Friendships"
Lucille is a wife to a man who was a childhood friend and they have been married for the past 14 years. Together they have four beautiful children. They live in Winterbourne, Ontario.
